5. 2013 Timetabling Timelines Phase 3 – Location Scheduling27/08/12 – 23/09/12 Central Office Tasks: Activities confirmed in WDC during Phase 2 are transferred to Syllabus Plus Timetable data analysed, and reported back to schools for correction: –Over constrained activities where no rooms match the requirements –Oversubscribed activities, where too many classes are requesting the same venue at the same time –Data gaps, no campus selected, no zone selected Classes scheduled and location priority groups: –Specialist spaces –Computer labs –Lecture theatres –Flat floor teaching spaces Scheduling reports provided to Schools after each group scheduled RMIT University©2012 Property Services, Space Planning and Management5
