Introduction You must provide a report in relation to the Liquid Fuel Opt-in Scheme under section 92A of the Clean Energy Act 2011 (Clean Energy Act) if: –you have applied and been declared to be a Designated Opt-in Person (DOIP) by the Clean Energy Regulator; and –you have an provisional emissions number (PEN) in relation to the potential greenhouse gas emissions embodied in your opt-in amount. Designated Opt-in Person Additional Information Worksheet The Clean Energy Regulator has produced the ‘Designated Opt-in Person Additional Information Worksheet’ to assist you in calculating your PEN for Opt-in reporting. You will record your opt-in amount in the worksheet which will calculate your PEN based on the data you have entered. Once reporting is complete, you are required to save the worksheet as a generated PDF file and attach it to your report provided under section 22A of the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting Act 2007 in EERS. When you open the file, you will see the Instructions page which will describe how to use the worksheet.
