1. I AM JUPITOR’S SON Today at the meeting, I used my gold coin toss trick and the resulting lightening strike from the javelin showed the whole camp that I am Jupiter's son. I had no idea. What am I doing at this camp? I don’t think I belong here. I am not comfortable sleeping at Cabin One, the cabin built for Jupiter's children.

2. Being Jupiter's son got us out alive We flew on the bronze dragon to Quebec for our first clue to find Hera, to visit the most friendly wind god for a clue where Hera was being held. He was ready to freeze all three of us as frozen statutes for his collection until he realized that I am Jupiter's son. He let all of us leave after that realization. I have to thank my lineage for getting us out of a tight spot.

3. Being Jupiter's son almost got us killed Today at Colorado the wolf-man almost killed all of us because of a grudge he held against Jupiter for down-grading him to be a wolf-man. My gold sword was useless against him. Only silver works against him and his pack of wolves. If my sister Thalia had not arrived with the Hunters of Artemis and their silver arrows, we would have all been goners. I understand now that I cannot fight the war by myself or with just two friends. I need family as well.

4. Sometimes you just have to ask for help Today in rescuing Piper’s father from the ugly giant of a kidnapper, I engaged the giant so that Leo and Piper can rescue her father. I fought hard until my weapon broke. The giant just won’t die no matter what Leo and I did. Then the giant reminded me that he can only die if a god and a demigod worked together. I asked my father, Jupiter, for help. He gave it and the giant finally died. It took this extreme experience for me to ask help from my father. I did not ask help from my sister Thalia; she just gave it and I gladly took it. But this time I did voluntarily ask help from my father. I am still here. I do not feel belittled or weak for having done so.

5. We rescued Hera We all performed our best today. I had no weapon going into the battle; I only had a frozen piece of wood that I picked up at the site, but you should have seen me knocking off the enemy. I also tamed a wind spirit in the form of a horse; it helped greatly in my battle and provided power to Leo’s chainsaw. Piper is really coming into her own. She managed to charmspeak mother earth back to sleep! Leo really did great, using both his fire and mechanic gifts to free Hera from her cage when Hera was almost swallowed by mother earth. We did it; we rescued Hera, completed our quest.
