For the full policy, contact the human resources department. Quinnipiac University Courses: The University Tuition Remission Program provides financial assistance to University employees, their spouses or eligible domestic partners and their dependent children (subject to the exclusions listed in the full policy). To be eligible for tuition remission, the applicant must meet all University admission, registration and policy requirements. This policy provides remission for tuition only. The payment of all non-tuition charges is the responsibility of the employee as well as the recipient of tuition remission and is not covered as a benefit under this policy. All charges not covered by this policy must be paid in accordance with the terms of the University. Pursuant to University policy, no one can register for courses where there is a hold on an account. Tuition remission does not apply to all programs and degree levels. NOTE: Questions regarding eligibility and programs covered should be directed to human resources. Study Abroad Courses and Programs: Quinnipiac-sponsored study abroad course (such as QU301 where students are accompanied by a University faculty or staff member(s) and do not attend formal classes) tuition will be waived, provided that, in the judgment of the University, there is a sufficient number of enrollees paying tuition to ensure that the financial costs of the study abroad course are met. Tuition for non-Quinnipiac-sponsored study abroad programs (such as semester-long programs where the student attends classes at the study abroad program’s university) is not covered under this policy. Employees or eligible dependents will be responsible for the full tuition and expenses charged by the other (host) university regardless of whether it is less or more than Quinnipiac University tuition.
