4. Using Smart Notebook Getting Started o Start from the beginning by opening the program and clicking: FILE and NEW o Anytime you want to add a page to your project, click picture of paper with a green plus o To save your project, FILE and SAVE AS

Using Smart Notebook Exploring Tools o The Pen allows you to draw using different color lines, dotted lines, and highlighting liner o The Magic Pen allows you to draw a line that will fade over time o The Creative Pens allow you to draw with fun lines, including smiles, rainbow colors, flowers, etc. o Erasers allow you to erase things using different thicknesses o Line and Shape features let you make straight lines and different shapes o Shape Recognition Pen lets you draw a shape, and will convert it to a shape with straight lines. o Fill lets you color in an object with a color with one click o Add text using the Text feature
