18. Determining our Beliefs and Practices Step 1: Formulate a question: What does the Word of God teach about... ? Step 2: Ask the Holy Spirit to teach you the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. Step 3: Identify all the Scriptures that have anything to say about the question. Step 4: Assign a proper interpretation to each relevant scripture passage and verse that has anything to say about your question.
