To ensure that every citizen has the opportunity and skills necessary to engage in meaningful employment throughout Okaloosa and Walton Counties, and that every business has access to educated, trained, and prepared employees that meet their needs.

3 What is the One-Stop Delivery System ?
The One Stop delivery system provides universal access to an integrated array of labor exchange services so that workers, job seekers and businesses can find the services they need in one stop and frequently under one roof in easy-to-find locations.

4 PANHANDLE WARRIOR CONNECTION MISSION STATEMENT
To ensure every Warrior throughout Florida’s 1st Congressional District has greater access to benefits and housing; use of the G.I. Bill for education; and the opportunity and skills necessary to engage in meaningful employment.

5 The grant funding will not duplicate any existing Veteran programs, but enhance the Veteran outreach by connecting Warriors with services in the 1st Congressional District. The PWC Community Integration will link Warriors to community resources by networking with local agencies; educating the community as a whole about the needs of our Warriors; advocating for greater awareness in the community for Warriors and their families; and, creating solutions to gaps in care for Warriors.

7 Implementation of PWC Program with existing CareerSource Okaloosa Walton Services

Bill for education; and the opportunity and skills necessary to engage in meaningful employment. 9 Outreach services to Florida Panhandle Warriors will be conducted through multiple avenues including, but not limited to, enrolling eligible Warriors in education through the G.I. Bill; reducing Warrior unemployment in the designated communities; and developing a community analysis (i.e. mapping out) of the community to identify gaps in available services for Warriors.

10 Deliverables Make contact with minimum of 80% of Post 9/11 Warriors
13,458 Achieve 50% usage of G.I. Bill for eligible Post 9/11 Warriors 6,729 Of those identified Warriors utilizing the G.I. Bill, 90% will be on track to graduate from course work (Post 9/11 Warriors) 6,056 Reduce Warrior homelessness by 70% for Warriors seeking housing in the designated communities 295

11 Deliverables Cont’d Reduce Warrior unemployment in the designated communities by three percentage points below the community average or below 6% ("fractional full employment") for those employable 538 Enroll 100% of eligible Warriors in Veterans Affairs, specifically eBenefits and healthcare 4,441 Enroll 100% of eligible Post 9/11 Warriors; service connected disability in Wounded Warrior Project Alumni & Warrior Care Caregiver Support Develop a community analysis (i.e. mapping out) of community mental & behavioral health services and physical health services to identify gaps in availability or services .

Direct Warriors to Educational Institutions to use G.I. Bill The Local, State communities of the importance of serving Veterans

15 ADVOCATE Ensure Active Duty Military, Veterans and their families receive the support they need. Link Warriors to the VA and Wounded Warrior and ensure inquiries are resolved.

16 COLLABORATE Partner with community partners and resources on all levels to facilitate total warrior care. Example: School systems, Childcare, Colleges, Recreational facilities.
