3 Today’s Session  Equipment Needed  Setup and Configuration  Direct VHS to DVD  Video Capture  Video Editing

4 Equipment  Video Source VCR, DVD, Video Camera…  Video Capture device  Composite Cable  DVD -/+ R

5 Computer Requirements  Windows® 7, Windows Vista® (SP2), Windows XP (SP3)  Intel® Pentium® or AMD Athlon™ 1.8 GHz (2.4 GHz or higher recommended)  1 GB system memory recommended  DirectX® 9 or 10 compatible graphics card with 64 MB (128 MB)  256 MB required for HD and AVCHD*  DirectX 9 or higher compatible sound card  3.2 GB of disk space  DVD-ROM Optional  CD burner for creating Video CDs or Super Video CDs (S-VCDs)  DVD burner for creating DVD and AVCHD*

6 Setup 1. Plug the VCR power 2. Connect the A/V cables to the VCR

7 Setup 3. Connect the other end of the RCA cable to the Capture Device.

8 Setup 4. Connect the Capture device to your laptop/PC

9 Process Using Pinnacle Studio 1. Capture Video 2. Edit Video 3. Burn to DVD

10 Process Using Pinnacle Studio Instant DVD Recorder 1. Capture Video 2. Edit Video 3. Burn to DVD

11 The Pinnacle Dazzle system is one of many A/V capturing devices. These can be found at your local computer store
