6. -Floating gardens -Built to grow crops on Lake Texcoco’s water -To make a chinampa they had to make something that’s called a wattle -Trees were planted at the corners -Arranged in a grid -Rested only a few feet above water Chinampas

9. - That’s where they lived - Lived there until it was taken over in the 16 century - Society of fierce warriors - Conquered many people surrounding them - Built their island in the middle of a lake - Help protect them from attacks Central Mexico
