Odysseus’ men believe that Odysseus is hiding treasure from them. They open the bag of wind and go back to Aeoulus’ island. Fierce Cannibals that bombard Odysseus’ ships with boulders and only 45 of Odysseus’ men survive the fight.

4. Date ???The Odyssey Book 10 Circe Eurylocus Hermes Witch, enchantress, Turns the men into pigs by giving them a magic potion. Second in command Contrasting character to Odysseus When his men are turned into pigs, he runs away and saves himself. When Odysseus wants to know what happened, Eurylocus tells him to leave the men behind. Gives Odysseus help to take on Circe Gives Odysseus Moly: an herb that will prevent him from being turned into an animal like his men. Tells Odysseus to make Circe promise not to play any more witches tricks.

6. Date ???The Odyssey Book 10 Conflict Odysseus v. Circe-Odysseus is given the potion -It does not work, because of the moly -Circe falls to her knees and begs Odysseus for her life. -She offers to go to bed with him. -Odysseus refuses until she promises not to play anymore tricks. -Odysseus refuses to eat until she releases his men from her spell. -When she does release the men, they are taller, stronger, and more handsome.

8. Date ???The Odyssey Book Ten Conflict Odysseus v. Eurylocus Odysseus v. Circe Round two - Eurylocus questions Odysseus’ leadership. -He even brings up the Cyclops and how it was Odysseus’ curiosity that got those men killed. -Odysseus threatens to kill Eurylocus -Odysseus’ men prevent the fight, and tell Odysseus to leave Eurylocus behind. -Odysseus is tricked by Circe to stay longer than he planned. -He and his men stay for a year before they notice how much time has passed. -Odysseus is awoken from the trance by his men -Begs Circe to let him leave the island to go home.

10. DateThe Odyssey Book 10 TiresiasBlind Prophet Lives in the underworld with his reason and memories still in tact. He is the only person that can tell Odysseus how to get home.
