FIVE’S AN UNEVEN SPLIT My Senior project ( a Western) Short Film, maybe short series Five men that are mining out in a canyon find a treasure map that promises them riches. This slowly drives them to distrust each other to a point of a five way Mexican standoff.

MY TARGET AUDIENCE Any one over 18. Film might be rated R or pg-13. Small independent film festivals and Indy film goers. Any one that is a Western fan and loves the old spaghetti westerns. Older people may connect with this type of film more then younger people since it has adult themes and some violence. People who like good old practical effects, not so heavy on CGI. Also people who like classic adventure and gun duels will enjoy it.

SERVING A HUNGRY AUDIENCE As of right now there are no Western T.V. shows that are Westerns. We haven’t had a real classic Spaghetti type western in years. A million way to die in the west doesn’t count. (Comedy) nor does cow boys and Aliens. All the big movies are Sci-Fi, Comic book, or Horror genre related.

COMMUNITY TIES We will show at small Indy movie theaters and Independent film festivals. We are committed to reviving or keeping the Western genre a live and relevant with good old fashion stories, heroes and villains with a twist, problems and elements that are audience can relate even in todays standards.

Review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes reports that 97% percent of film critics gave the film positive reviews.
