7 What things can we do to improve walking at Texas Operations: Identify hazards prior to working in the area Walk the job, paying close attention to “walking” Mitigate or Eliminate Walking hazards Suggestion programs Signage Pre-task & SWP discussions barricading Maintain your health and know your limits Take your time when walking on/around uneven surfaces Achieve Physical fitness for the job Be aware of your surroundings Listen to your body when working in bent positions, take breaks, modify the working space when possible
