MW detection is based on the Doppler effect Moving objects cause the MW module to output “Doppler pulses”. Above a certain number of pulses the MW channel is triggered 1 MW channel cannot distinguish moving direction - so swaying objects (blinds, fans, bushes, etc.) cause false alarms WatchOUT uses 2 MW channels to recognize movement direction and overcome the challenge of swaying objects

ROKONET is conducting a worldwide launch campaign entitled: “4x4 Outdoor Security with WatchOUT” Campaign dates are: September 2005 until April 30th,2006. The campaign applies only to the DT version. The campaign is a competition in which installers purchase WatchOUT DT detectors and participate in a prize draw for a Suzuki Jimny 4x4. Inside each WatchOUT DT package there is a sticker with a serial number. The installer is asked to send the number and save the inside flap of the package for reference. We have a mini website for the contest; it’s address is: . The mini site includes information on the prize draw, info on the WatchOUT series and an entry form. Installers need to go into the site and enter their serial number/s into the form as requested. The campaign will be promoted on: WatchOUT DT packages Adverts in professional magazines Electronic banners in e-news magazines and on ROKONET’s website Press releases.
