12 How is a record created?  Bibliographic citation  Indexing Keywords Controlled vocabulary from the Thesaurus of Psychological Index Terms Classification codes Fields and limits

13 Keywords or Natural Language  Machine aided indexing suggests keywords and indexers “edit” these.  Natural language = words the author used in the uncontrolled content description of the document.  On CSA, the natural language field is the identifier, or ID.

14 Index Terms/Descriptors  On CSA, search for index terms using the field label DE for Descriptors.  Access the online Thesaurus in the Search Tools tab.
