What is Capacity? Capacity = Resources + Readiness Various types and levels of resources within the county and within an organization, such as a coalition The county’s level of readiness to engage in and support prevention efforts.

Readiness The county’s willingness to engage in and support prevention efforts as well as the availability of skills and resources within the county.

County System Capacity Checklist This checklist will be completed by the countywide coalition/Collaboration Council members It will then be scored by the SPF SIG Coordinator and results submitted to IDPH

County Prevention System Organization Chart Create a visual representation of the county prevention system which focuses on: services that prevent substance abuse organizations providing those services

County Prevention System Organization Chart Use Microsoft Word SmartArt (2007 or higher), PowerPoint or Google Docs to create the chart Submit to IDPH after completion
