Title Pick a title, even if you’re not sure about it! Titles can include a KEYWORD, but it also needs to be catchy and grab the attention of your readers. As a FREE E-BOOK, the title should sell not only the content inside the book, but be so attractive that your potential client will give you their name and e-mail (address, in some cases). 3 How to Eat an Elephant Book in One Sitting- ROAD MAP

Introduction – An introduction usually does two things: Tells how to use the book, if it is a book that needs some explanation, such as a teaching book. Gives your readers an idea of how the book came about. Like what went into creating it or your experience with the topic. 4 How to Eat an Elephant Book in One Sitting- ROAD MAP

Chapter 1 – The first chapter should introduce the topic. – Explain the problem, but don’t give the solution. – In your workbook, you created 10-12 questions in Strategizing Your Problem- Solution Activity. Chapter 1 (cont’d) – You will likely discover which question should logically be discussed first, second, etc. – You may discover that not all of your questions are valid or separate questions, but that’s okay. Chapter 1 (cont’d) During the Data Mining, you should have found all your articles on this topic. Look for the article that addresses this Question. Chapter 2 In the second chapter, we need to discuss your second question from the list you developed in Strategizing Your Problem-Solution Activity) while doing the exercises in your. Chapter 8 In the eighth chapter, we will address the seventh eighth question from the list you developed in Strategizing Your Problem-Solution Activity while doing the exercises in your Workbook. You will still be looking at the Problem-Solution in this chapter, but you will be addressing the solution here. Find the article that best matches the question for this chapter. Adapt it to fit. About the Author Connie Dunn is the owner of Publish with Connie and creator of 12 Easy Steps to Publishing, How to Eat a Book Elephant, Book Launch 101, and other courses and books. She is an author, speaker and educator. She has more than 25 years of experience in writing for magazines and newspapers.
