7 Noble Eagles Pride of the Rockies Year of the Station Commander FY11 Denver Recruiting Battalion Education  High School Junior or Senior  Education status must be verified, RESTRICTIONS MAY APPLY  High School Juniors may only apply for the Army Reserves  High School Diploma Graduate or Higher  Must possess a Diploma or Official Transcripts  General Equivalency Diploma (GED)  RESTRICTIONS MAY APPLY  15 Semester Hours of College  Must be 100 level or higher courses (some exceptions may apply)  22 Quarter Hours or 675 Clock Hours are also acceptable

8 Noble Eagles Pride of the Rockies Year of the Station Commander FY11 Denver Recruiting Battalion Education  Job Corps  Must possess GED, Trade Certificate and have 675 clock hours  Home School  Must possess Diploma and Transcripts  Currently Enrolled in College  Minimum 15 semester hours of 100 level courses, must be enrolled AND attending. Online courses are not allowed.

11 Noble Eagles Pride of the Rockies Year of the Station Commander FY11 Denver Recruiting Battalion Moral / Legal  Applicants entire record will be reviewed to determine if they are eligible for enlistment  Determination is made based on the number, type, and disposition of the violations  Exceptions to Army policy may be granted in individual cases  Under no circumstances may a Recruiting Officer assist or intervene on an applicants behalf

12 Noble Eagles Pride of the Rockies Year of the Station Commander FY11 Denver Recruiting Battalion Testing  Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery  Test is normed to the general population  Test is scored from 0-99 and is a percentage based score  Required Scores (Subject to Change or Restrictions)  High School Diploma or Higher – 31+  High School Junior or Senior – 31+  General Equivalency Diploma – 50+  Testing Locations  High School  Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS)  Mobile Examination Site

13 Noble Eagles Pride of the Rockies Year of the Station Commander FY11 Denver Recruiting Battalion Physical  Must complete a Physical Examination at the MEPS  Physical in similar to a school physical  Includes a hearing test, eye exam, range of motion evaluation  All prior medical conditions must be disclosed  Exceptions made for certain pre-existing conditions  Cannot currently be under a doctors care or taking medications  Some exceptions may apply  Must pass a drug test  Body Modifications can disqualify someone from the Army
