Festival 2012 Denver Delegate Registration Delegate registration is now open.Delegate registration is now open. All delegate registrations must be processed online; no hard copy registration forms will be accepted. There is a $3.50 online registration fee that is paid by the registrant. If you do not have access to a computer please have a fellow chorister assist you. $205 Early delegate registration (Deadline is November 30, 2011) $245 Regular delegate registration (Deadline is February 28, 2012 $285 Late delegate registration $150 Youth and senior registration (youth: age 20 and younger; seniors: age 65 and older) (same rate regardless of when you register)

Festival 2012 Denver Delegate Registration All cancellation requests must by made by email to info@galachoruses.org. Registration cancellation requests received on or before March 1, 2012 will be entitled to a full refund. Registration cancellation requests received after March 1, 2012 will be eligible for a 50% refund. Transfers may be processed at any time prior to June 1, 2012 within Regonline by the individual who created the original registration. Transfer requests after June 1, 2012 must be sent by email to info@galachoruses.org and are subject to a $35 administrative fee. info@galachoruses.org

Scholarships In order to make Festival as accessible as possible, GALA Choruses is offering one waived registration for every 20 delegates registered from your chorus. Your chorus may decide how to best use that free registration within your singing membership. We welcome any choruses that have raised sufficient funds for their singers to attend Festival to "donate" their free registrations to a chorus with fewer resources. No scholarship applications will be sent to GALA Choruses. Each chorus will be notified when they have registered another 20 delegates and have been awarded another waived registration. The chorus will provide GALA with the information on who will be using the scholarship and GALA staff will process the registration.

Festival 2012 Denver Delegate Registration Accessibility We have identified an Accessibility Coordinator for Festival and she will be working with local choruses and Festival planners to make sure all venues are accessible. She will also be a go-to person for questions about mobility in advance of Festival, and issues that arise during Festival week. As we get closer to Festival, her phone number will be available to anyone needing mobility assistance.

Festival 2012 Denver Housing We are working on a university housing option that is located within the Curtis hotel called The Inn at Auraria. They are offering 50 beds at $70 per bed per night. The contract will have to be handled through GALA as they will not contract individually with delegates. The diagram below shows the layout of the suites. While the price is about the same as 3 individuals sharing a hotel room, these suites will offer less luxury but more space.

Festival 2012 Denver Housing Housing will open in January 2012 and will be coordinated through Passkey, the Denver Convention & Visitors Bureau housing software. Once housing opens, delegates will be able to go online and see the remaining inventory of rooms at each of the hotels in the block and make their reservations immediately online. A one night deposit will be charged to their credit card to try to minimize overbooking of rooms that get released later.

Festival 2012 Denver Banners Chorus banners will be available which will be displayed on the planter box poles along the 16 th Street Mall.

Festival 2012 Denver Banners The banner design is underway but not yet completed. The banner order process will be similar to Festival 2008 Miami. The banner price will be $150. Banner applications will be available later this year and their availability will be announced by eBlast.

Festival 2012 Denver Merchandise There will be a GALA store in Denver much the same as Miami including consigned goods from member choruses. Pricing will change a little to include a handling charge and a selling charge.

Festival 2012 Denver Other We are working with a local tour operator to offer half-day and full-day trips to Estes Park, Pike’s Peak, etc. As those plans finalize we will provide information on how to make reservations. We are also looking at the possibility of hiring a transportation service to make more affordable airport service available.l
