MEMORY What do you already know about memory? Everything we do relies on memory We do not know how the brain triggers memory Memory helps us survive Memory is slippery – the more we find out about it the more complicated it seems to be Memories are not single things – they are lots of pathways (riding a bike) Memory is a living thing – it is not fixed or constant Memories come and go There is no one part of the brain which is memory – it uses all your brain Copy into your Learning Journal © George Spencer Foundation School & Technology College 2010
