2. ABOUT PRETTY LITTLE LIARS  Pretty little liars is a popular TV series that’s set in the town of Rosewood. One year after the disappearance of Alison, four girls begin receiving messages from the mysterious ‘A’ who threatens to tell their secrets. At first they think its Alison sending the texts, but after her body is found, the girls realize that someone else knows their secrets. ‘A’ also stalked Alison before she disappeared, so the girls tried to discover more and more information about ‘A’ and Alison’s disappearance while risking their lives.

4. HANNA MARIN  Hanna is one of five main characters in Pretty Little Liars.  At the start of the TV series, session 1, Hanna was overweight and Alison constantly bagged Hanna for it.  After Alison went missing, Hanna started to ignore her friend (Mona) and lost weight which made her increase her popularity.

5. ARIA MONTGOME  Aria Montgome is another of the five main characters.  Out of all the five liars, Aria was the weirdest.  One afternoon while running away from Mona, Alison and Aria discovered that her farther was having an affair with a college student.  Shortly after Alison's disappearance, Aria moved to Iceland for a year, and when she returned from her holiday, she was more mature.

6. SPENCER HASTINGS  Spencer is Intelligent, overachieving and extremely wealthy. She constantly balances many jobs, such as charity work, field hocky, after school clubs and internships. She is confident and would stand up to Alison when nobody else could.  Spencers family life is difficult, her parents are often too busy to be with her and she never gets along with her older sister Melisa. Spencer does begin to show a bit of strain when she and her friends begin receiving strange texts from A.

7. EMILY FIELDS  Emily has a talent of swimming which is allowing her to be the star of Rosewood’s swim team.  Emily cares a lot about her friends that she tries so hard to keep them safe.  She has been through many difficulties, but she always seems to stay strong and still think about others.
