How Braille Displays Work: VoiceOver and Braille work together: VoiceOver must be on for the braille display to work! If an app won’t work with VoiceOver, the braille display won’t work either Braille chord commands are equivalent to hand gestures used with VoiceOver Can mute VoiceOver and use only braille for navigation/reading To pair a braille display, go to the Settings icon, then select General, Accessibility, VoiceOver, and Braille. When you see your braille display under Choose a Braille Device, select your device. Enter the code 1234 on your iOS Device* (not the refreshable braille display) to complete the pairing process. This only needs to be done the first time you use the braille display. To view all refreshable braille displays that work with iOS devices go to: http://www.apple.com/accessibility/iphone/braille-display.html http://www.apple.com/accessibility/iphone/braille-display.html *Most displays use the code 1234
