Eighth Judicial District Court Adult Drug Court The grantee is District Court who contracts with The Salvation Army and WestCare Nevada to provide day and residential treatment services. The target population is Drug Court participants who require day or residential treatment services. Other partners include Parole & Probation, Choices Group (outpatient provider), and defense attorneys. Introduction – Who are We?

NEXT STEPS (act) Adult Rehabilitation Program - Salvation Army Emphasis on retention - week 1 orientation Added 3-page instruction on proper etiquette for front desk staff Changed policy to provide clients second chance Added 30-day satisfaction survey Drug Court Implemented increased drug testing using Choices Lab

IMPACT (lessons learned) Decreased administrative discharges by 22% in 2 month period of implementation Increased staff awareness of impact of administrative discharges on client welfare Clinical Supervisor transports clients to Drug Court which increased rapport with clients Successful collaboration leads to better client outcomes
