2.  The meaning of “swayam” is “on your own”. The aim and objective of “Muthu Foundation and Rotary Club of Coimbatore Manchester” is to enable the people (who have become dependent due to accidents) to become independent and self reliant in their health and financial aspects. AIM OF SWAYAM

3.  The Beneficiaries have incurred disability, disease or injury to the bone or joint of four limbs. Because of which he/she has become crippled and dependent on others. Though the disease or disablement is curable, due to their poverty it becomes incurable for them. CRITERIA

4.  The beneficiary will be selected and actions taken immediately to relieve them from their pain and suffering. We continue to be helpful to them until they become independent and mobile. CRITERIA

5.  The disabled person who cannot use his hands or legs or both will be able to use them after operation and will stand on his own in future without support of others with respect to any of his basic human natural needs. SUPPORT AND TRANSITION

6.  The cost of treatment will vary between Rupees Twenty thousands to one lakh except exceptions.  The Professional fee for surgeon is not charged for this treatment. The hospital expenses will be discounted up to 50% depending on their situation. EXTENT OF SERVICE

7.  The expenses will be borne by Muthu Foundation and Rotary Coimbatore Manchester jointly.

10.  As Rotary Club contributed towards elimination of Polio, and other social activities from India.
