Policy for use, adaptations What are constraining factors against adoption / use? Need to maintain integrity Need mechanism for updates

Core Manual Update Revision – 2008 Coordinated “as is” printings – NDSU State adaptations – prior to July 2010 Addendum with state regulations State adaptations – change in philosophy Access to In-Design version Add state information to appropriate chapter Delete information covered in category manuals Enhance with revisions/clarifications Access graphics, glossary, etc.

National Soil Fumigation Manual & Exam Item Bank Background 14 states have soil fumigation exam category EPA has a new federal category included in proposed regulation changes (draft 2011, implementation 2013) Registrants required to conduct training for the interim time period CTAG – EPA correspondence passing an updated certification exam would substitute for registrant-mandated training noted on labeling to be released late 2011
