1. SULTAN JIHAD AHMAD COMMUNITY FOUNDATION Founded 1993 by Harriett and Sultan Ahmad in honor of Sultan Jihad Ahmad November 15, 1976 – April 20, 1992

PURPOSE  To raise awareness about the perils of youth violence by providing funding for programming, education and research.  To provide academic scholarships and achievements for community “At Risk Youth”.  Secure financial support that will be dedicated and committed to the education of “At Risk Youth” preventing youth delinquency and ending youth violence.  Perpetuate learning and promote social psychological development for all members of the community.  To practice nondiscrimination with respect to race religion, sex origin or creed in providing scholarships and funding and/ or other rights, privileges or activities and to actively recruit all members of the general community.
