6 Updates to the Initial Draft PWP/TREP The PWP/TREP has been updated since its initial release in 2010 to include: Selection of the Express Lanes only alternative for I-5 North Coast Corridor design guidelines Refinement of a comprehensive mitigation and enhancement plan including lengthening rail and highway bridges Additional coastal access elements like the new 27-mile North Coast Bike Trail 6

8 NCC Projects Under Development More than 30 projects currently under development in the corridor: 14 rail and transit 10 environmental and coastal access 8 highway TDM Plan to reduce demand

9 Next Steps/Timeline 9 March 2013: Re-Release of Public Works Plan April – August 2013: Collaborate with cities on LCP amendments Summer 2013: Release of FED for I-5 Express Lanes Project 2014: Coastal Commission action 2015: Begin construction on I-5 HOV extension from Manchester Avenue to SR 78
