Origin of Islam Originated in the 7 th century Muhammad was said to be a prophet of God around 610 AD Islam began in Muhammad's birth place: Mecca, Saudi Arabia

What Muslims Believe 1. There is one God (Allah) 2. Muhammad was a prophet of God. 3. There is an afterlife. 4. Five Pillars of faith that all Muslims try to reach: 5. Humans aren’t created in the image of Allah.

Universal Religion Islam is a universal religion It can be practiced anywhere in the world and is easily accessible

Autonomous Religion There are 2 branches but they are not organized Followers of Islam do not need to report to anyone There is no required place of worship, only following the 5 pillars.
