REVIEW There are billions of galaxies in the universe. They are different shapes, colors, and sizes. Edwin Hubble classified galaxies based on their shape, using the “Tuning Fork Diagram.” There are Elliptical, Spiral, Barred Spiral, Irregular, and SO shaped galaxies.
