1. ES1000C/1500C Battery Replacement Procedure

2. 1.Pull off the front panel.

3. 2.Loosen the three screws from the battery retaining plate. 3.Pull and remove the battery retaining plate.

4. 4.Gently pull out the battery.5.Disconnect the red wire connecting the battery to the UPS.

5. 6.Disconnect the black wire connecting the battery to the UPS. 7.Disconnect the short wire between the two batteries.

6. 8.Install the new batteries, making sure that the red wire is connected to the red battery terminal and the black wire is connected to the black battery terminal. Use the short black wire to connect the two batteries.

7. 9.Push the new batteries back into place. 10.Reposition the battery retaining plate. 11.Tighten the three screws. 12.Put back the front panel.
