6 Create a plan to implement a BASIC PASSING GAME bit-by-bit: Kids of all ages can throw the football; Pick the right kid and coach-up his skills; Start on Day #1 and reserve some practice time for your passing; Same with receivers - identify who can catch and then develop these players as receivers; QB drills - handling the ball - footwork drills - passing; Receiver work - catching balls - running routes; allot just a few minutes each day, maybe at the end of practice, to work passing game; Encourage QBs & receivers to work on their own, too.
