3  A knight was a usually referred to as a warrior or a nobleman.  During the Middle Ages being called a knight meant a mounted or armored soldier.  Originally knights rode on horseback, but it commonly became connected to nobility or social status, most likely because of the cost of the cavalry

4 First, you were a Page. Starting at age seven and ending at age fourteen. The page was basically a servant(shined armor and weapons, groomed horse, and so on) Next you became a Squire. From the end of your page training to age twenty- one(when you became a knight) This is when your real training began. While a squire you were the knight’s assistant and learned how to wear heavy armor and use a lance. NOW YOU WERE A KNIGHT!!!!!!

5 CCrusades were very bloody battles. CCrusades were battles between Christians and Muslims. EEven though there were many deaths, Europe's economy still grew.

7 IIt was a way to identify knights during tournaments and battles. TThey usually identified their way of life. TThey were normally worn on coat of arms, shield, helmet, or banner.

9 KNIGHTS ARMOR The armor was used to protect the fighter from any harm. It was plate metal on top of mail, which was a series of connected chain links.

10 THE FIRST TRY The first helmet was a simple metal bowl placed on the soldier’s head.

11 THE HORSE The horse was used for higher mounting of a night.

12 THE SHIELD The shield was used for blocking attacks from the enemy.

13 MAIL Mail was a simple chain shirt or hood placed on ones body

15 -Morgan Le Fay was King Arthur’s evil half-sister. -Morgan hated Arthur for his purity and plotted with her lover, Sir Accolon, to steal both Excalibur and the British throne. -Morgan stole Excalibur's scabbard and threw it into the nearest lake. 18 King Arthur’s myth  Some people believe  Some people believe that he was really a Celtic god.  Some people believe that he had supper-human strength.  Some people believe that he was in the bear family. Also that he was related to Ursa Major.

19 King Arthur’s Round Table  King Arthur’s famous Round Table was famous for his round table.  The Round Table was a wedding gift Guinevere’s father.  It was invented to prevent arguments about who would sit at the head of the table.

20 Excalibur  Excalibur was a sword that King Arthur was given by the lady of the lake.  With the sword in his possession he could not die.
