For our internet Adult Bible study version of this week’s lesson, we are primarily going to focus on the bible application. Before we get started, you are going to have to answer some questions, by doing a little bit of research in your Bibles (Hint-Read Ezekiel 8,9,10,43:3). For only by doing your own investigation, will you fully understand the context of our lesson. But for you-God’s child-this won’t be a problem. Ok. First-why had the glory of The Lord departed from The Temple? Second-what happened to Solomon’s Temple? Third-where was Ezekiel’s audience when God gave Ezekiel the vision of The glorified Temple? Fourth-what were their living conditions? Fifth-how many Temple’s will be constructed? See, I told you-child of God! That didn’t even make you break a sweat. So, armed with knowledge. Let’s go a little further.

I.Possession taken of this Temple, by The Glory of God filling it (Ezekiel 43:1-6). Ezekiel 43:1-12 extends upon a storyline which had begun in the forty chapter of the same book. Namely, Ezekiel, as shown to him from God, revealed to us the nature of a HOLY Temple of God. Now, here is where your research will pay off. Was Ezekiel speaking of The Tabernacle that God instructed Moses to pitch in the wilderness? Was Ezekiel speaking of Solomon’s Temple? Was Ezekiel speaking of Herod’s Temple? Compare and contrast between The Tabernacle that Moses pitched in the wilderness, Solomon’s Temple and Herod’s Temple? Two of the aforementioned shared something directly related to our lesson. Which two? And what was it that the two shared in common? How did the builders of the one that did not share in common with the other two attempt to imitate what the other two shared? Can an argument be made that Ezekiel was speaking of The Holy Temple God, in terms of The New Testament philosophy relating to The Spirit of God dwelling within a believer’s body? If so, explain the rationale. If not, explain your reasoning.
4
When will Ezekiel’s vision of this Temple be fulfilled? Why would Ezekiel’s vision of The Holy Temple, not only comfort his people, but God’s people of all time?
