P ROJECT B ASED L EARNING AND M ULTIMEDIA IN M Y C LASSROOM I used PowerPoint as a review tool in Math My students create PowerPoints as a digital yearbook project for their fifth grade year I integrated Webquests and online field trips Students also compared and contrasted city life and country life in an online unit

I NTERACTIVITY I used computer based games and PowerPoints, such as Jeopardy, to review for tests.Jeopardy I also have used problem based games, such as Jamestown to help students empathize and comprehend what life was like in the past. Jamestown I believe any interactivity, even if it’s simply verbal interaction, enhances every classroom!

7. A NALYSIS OF S ELF -A SSESSMENT I have done animations before, but it has been a few years. I know it’s changed since then! I have used Wikispaces, but never to create a portfolio. Many of the skills are ones that I have tried, but not mastered. If I didn’t feel %100 comfortable, I left it blank.

8. I N S UMMARY … Even though I love staying home with my daughter, I enjoy working part-time because I love teaching, too. Technology has always been a part of my teaching, but I would like to it take a larger role in my classroom. My goal is to take what I have been doing and make it current to what’s happening now in 2010!
