4 Needles and sharp objects ** Although has implemented strict routines to be followed, below sharp objects has been found in all supply products … ** …Some of our youngest customers has been seriously wounded!

5 Decorations and small parts ** Bows and other decorations…. * Must be firmly stitched, not only glued. * Must not have sharp edges. * Must always be attached with woven reinforcement on the back of the fabric. * Must be adequately finished to secure the ends, a knot is not allowed.

6 Decorations and small parts ** Sequins, beads and pearls and glued on decoration… * Can not be tested in 90/50N pull force. * Must be checked for sharp edges and point’s. * Need to be washed tested 5 times to ensure that decorations are intact after wash.

7 Decorations and small parts **Motives and labels… * Must be firmly stitches, not only glued. * Must withstand 90 N pull force if fitting entirely testing cylinder and is not stitched all way around. * Must not break or have sharp edges. *Flags labels that are made of flat woven tape with no sharp edges or labels that are stitched all way around does not have to be tested in 90N.

8 Drawstring and cords **Hoods on outerwear must be detachable. **Ends of drawstring must be secured. Not okOk

9 Drawstring and cords **Toggles or other embellishment shall only be used of drawstring with no free ends. **When using a loop drawstring the overlapping of the endings must be at least 3 cm. **Belt loops shall be designed to lie flat against the garment with maximum length of 7,5 cm(as per Buyer standard).

10 Buttons **All sewn on buttons… * Must be securely fastened with lock stitch. * Must withstand the 90N pull force for 10 seconds if the button dimension is greater than 6mm. * Withstand the 50N pull force for 10 seconds if the button dimension is less or equal to 6mm. * Must not break or have sharp edges. * Shall have 2-hole button rather than 4-hole button (as per Buyer standard).

11 Buttons **Press- and Jeans buttons, rivets and eyelets… * Must withstand the 90N pull force for 10 seconds if the button dimension is greater than 6mm. * Must withstand the 50N pull force for 10 seconds if the button dimension is less or equal to 6mm. * Must not break or have sharp points and edges. * Upper and lower parts must have a perfect matching when closed.

12 Zippers **All zippers must meet the Buyer’s requirements. * All parts of the zipper must not break or have sharp edges. * All garments with a metal zipper must have a zipper guard facing the body to prevent injury. * Styles with a zip fly must have a zipper guard firmly secured at the bottom. This is valid for all types of zippers in metal, plastic and nylon. Zipper guard

13 Puller attachments **Puller attachments with play value that are shaped, filled or made of any other material than a plain woven tape must also fulfill the “resistance to twist of pull and slider”. **Pullers with play value:

14 Puller attachments **Pullers with no play value must withstand 90N pull test but no need to test “resistance to twist of pull and slider”. **Ensure a zipper does have a “fold over”. Not okFold over Stitched together. Max. total length 7,5 cm
