Withstand in the evil day To stand against or to resist Believers must stand firm in the faith in order to be most effective in honoring the Savior. 1 John 5:13

Buckling up With truth (God’s Word) John 8:31 Breastplate of righteousness (positional vs. experiential) Rom. 4:5; Luke 1:6 Shod your feet with the gospel of peace – Rom. 5:1; Eph. 2:14-17; Rom. 10:15 Shield of faith – Ps. 23

Strap it on Helmet of salvation (positive thinking) Col.3:1-4 Sword of the spirit (defensive weapon – short two-edged) Heb. 4:12 If believers are to stand, they must know and apply God’s Word.

Stay alert Praying always Being watchful Being an ambassador of the mystery of the gospel
