8. Write down what sensory word is shown in each sentence: 1. The spilt milk around the dumpsters on garbage day is rancid. 2. Today the air has a balmy imprint. 3. The red of the roses was so aggressively vivid that it almost hurt to look at them. 4. The strawberries were so luscious that I was led to believe they were just picked. 5. “Can I go outside now!”, shrieked the little boy.

9. Group Work  Each student is given a post it note that looks like this: The numbers on the left are the chapters you will be using to search and the sense on the right is the one you are looking for. Please write down a sentence that has the sensory word in it for the sense on your post-it. Also write the page number your sentence was on.
