4 The Garments for Priests  Who are the priests? Ex 28:1,43; Num 18:1-7  Sons of Aaron: Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar  All Levites were not priests Num 16-17  Make garments for them exactly as instructed using gold, blue, purple, and scarlet.  The High Priests garment is described in most detail

5 The Garments for Priests  Priests as mediators between God and Israel  Sacrificing before law: Cain/Abel, Abraham, Job  Law of Moses: Priests set apart for this work  Teach Israel all the statutes (Lev 10:10-11; Mal 2:7)  Keep the sanctuary and altar  Make intercession (Heb 7:25)
