Direct objects are….. A direct object is a noun or pronoun that receives the action of a “action verb" in an active sentence or shows the result of the action. A direct object answers the question "What?" or "Whom?" after an action verb.

Direct objects are….. The subject of a sentence usually can answer the question Who? The action verb in a sentence usually displays action! The direct object should follow the two!!! Direct objects CAN be more than one word as well!!!
