Water Level Detectors Performance Standard (MSC Resolution) –Cargo hold: Pre-alarm (0.5 m) & Main-alarm (15% depth, max 2 m). –Fore compartment:Alarm (10% (B/tank), 0.1m). –Accuracy: +/-100 mm. –Override and re-setting (auto & manual, IACS) (Cargo/Ballast hold, Ballast tank) –Cargo area circuitry is intrinsically safe. –Conform to IMO “Code on alarms and indicators 1995”. –Capable of being supplied with 2 independent el.-supplies. –Demonstrated by Type test. Location - aft part of the hold, and –Either as close to the centre line, or –At both port and starboard sides IMO  BCS
