5. The characters in our story: Jesus, a crowd including some who are skeptical, a paralyzed man, a team of four friends. Team => 2 or more people who share a common goal and work toward that goal.

6.  Put their own agendas to the side and made the team agenda their priority.  The team was not satisfied with getting their paralyzed friend to the house where Jesus was speaking, they would not stop until they got their friend into the presence of Jesus.  This team knew that if they could do their part, that Jesus could be trusted to do His part.  Jesus saw the faith of this team and responded, “Your sins are forgiven.”

7. Jesus saw the faith of this team and forgave a man’s sin, healed a man of his paralysis and declared Jesus’ authority as the Son of Man.
