5. Northeastern Football Offensive Line Stance Make sure you have 2 foot splits between linemen. Feet should be shoulder width apart and toes pointed straight. Stagger the right foot if your on the right side of the center. Stagger left foot if you are on the left side of the center. Lean slightly forward placing all of your finger pads on the ground. Your other hand, will have the palm flat against the mid-thigh, elbow up Heels should be slightly off the ground. No flat feet! Your back should be flat and head is up.
