Call to Worship

Hymn of Praise

Invocation

Lord's Prayer Matthew 6:9-13 Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Hymn of Praise

Welcome and Announcement 1. Welcome all brothers and sisters and friends to our Worship Service. Our special warm welcome to those who have been away for school or work and are home for Thanksgiving. Please stay for lunch after the Chinese Worship Service. 2. There is no rehearsal for either Children Choir or Special Adult Choir this afternoon. Rehearsal will resume next Sunday afternoon.

3. Please join us for our Advent Worship Service at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday Dec. 14. It is going to be a Combined Bilingual Worship Service, followed by our year- end Congregation Meeting at 11:15 a.m. The agenda includes approval of the 2015 General Budget, 2015 Mission Budget and ministry reports. It is the privilege as well as responsibility for all members to attend the Congregation Meeting. All non- members are welcome to observe.

4. We are still looking for adult volunteers to help at the 2015 Flower City Work Camp (Sunday March 29 to Thursday April 2). Please prayerfully consider participating, and if the Lord is so leading you, contact Lawrence Tai (261-2968) on or before December 10.

5. Please note that as of the end of October, both RCCC and RCCC-W are behind in offerings and operating in the red. Offering is the biblically mandated responsibility of all believers, and the way the Lord has ordained to care for the work and needs of His church and the gospel. The Bible says, "God loves a cheerful giver" (II Corinthians 9:7).

Pastoral Prayer

Scripture Reading 1 Timothy 4:1-5 1 But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons, 2 by means of the hypocrisy of liars seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron, 3 men who forbid marriage and advocate abstaining from foods which God has created to be gratefully shared in by those who believe and know the truth.

4 For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with gratitude; 5 for it is sanctified by means of the word of God and prayer.
