29. Donate clothing, bed linens, accessories and other items you are getting rid of to Goodwill, Salvation Army or your local Women’s Shelter. (Get a tax deduction!) If you have clothes or shoes that are unsuitable for resale in a thrift shop, many of same programs (Goodwill, Salvation Army) will take these types of items for sale in overseas markets and for recycling. 30. Reduce – Part two Before purchasing new items such as clothes, shoes or jewelry... Ask yourself... Do I really need it? Is it something I will really wear enough to justify the cost?
