What is the Framework? The Framework is a seven-agency collaborative Human Services Healthcare and Family Services Aging Children and Family Services Public Health Commerce and Economic Opportunity Employment Security (data sharing) Goals Provide governance for the creation of an enterprise approach to healthcare and human services. Promote a culture of interoperability among Illinois Healthcare and Human Services (HHS) agencies, identify and provide resources and insights toward interoperability Leverage the federal/state investments in the Health Information Exchange (HIE), the implementation of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) Integrated Eligibility System (IES) Health Insurance Marketplace (HIM) Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) upgrade. 2 10/31/2013Illinois Framework for Healthcare and Human Services
