100+% Increase in calls every year since 2008! >1600 Homeless children - PBC School District (440 in South Palm Beach County) 11.7% of Families under poverty line (>41,000 children) Nationwide Why are we here – the need grows Palm Beach County 42% homeless children under 6 1 in 45 children experience homelessness every year 200,000 children homeless on any night 279% increase in homeless families since 2007

Family Promise of South Palm Beach County An Effective Local Response A slightly over 5 year old nonprofit that helps Local Children and Families Who Are Temporarily Homeless Graduate to Sustainable Independence with 100% Success Rate among Graduates Key Services Provided Temporary shelter Food Companionship Financial management counseling Parenting/Family therapy Job placement aid Subsidized Housing assistance

FPSPBC Key Metrics (11/08-12/13) >42,000 meals >14,000 bed nights ~206 graduates (incl. 124 children in 66 families >100% success rate among graduates Cost Effective < 3 full time employees ~1,100 volunteers >137,810 volunteer hours
