Our emergency services and 12-step recovery programs offer a compassionate bridge to productive lives. We remove obstacles and provide the accountability and structure that the people who are experiencing homelessness need to rejoin their communities. Our conviction and commitment to their success define us.

THE MIDNIGHT MISSION - PROGRAM SERVICES ALL SERVICES are available free of charge to anyone who comes through our doors. GUEST SERVICES: Project Safe Sleep – safe night’s sleep Breakfast, lunch and dinner - 7 days a week Clothing and personal hygiene items Showers, shaves and haircuts Non-perishable food Mail receipt and distribution On-site Department of Social Services agency Program and service referrals Medical screening and TB and HIV testing On-site AA and CA meetings Special events, holidays meals and entertainment DRUG AND ALCOHOL RECOVERY PROGRAM: Breakfast, lunch and dinner – 7 days a week Room and board for suggested period of time Individual case management Life skills management counseling Employment center, counseling and job placement Education – opportunities for GED certification and higher education Clothing and personal hygiene items Probation and/or Parole liaison Court advocacy Fiscal management classes Medical, dental, vision care and TB and HIV testing On-site AA and CA meetings Aftercare case management for program graduates Special events, holiday meals and entertainment

Every year, THE MIDNIGHT MISSION works with hundreds of volunteers, individuals, schools and local businesses to secure toys and gifts for homeless and near-homeless children. These toys are then distributed on Christmas morning in our Santa’s Village.

Santa’s Village Toy Drive! With your help, this extraordinary event will ensure every child gets a new unwrapped gift of their choice, a stuffed animal, a stocking stuffer and a book. THE MIDNIGHT MISSIONTHE MIDNIGHT MISSION WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO? 1.Check out our kick start ideas and start planning. 2.Gather volunteers (friends, family & co- workers) to collect 3 ft. high sturdy boxes and wrap them with holiday paper, Midnight Mission flyers & suggested toy lists. 3.Identify areas of high foot traffic where your toy donation box will be visible. 4.Print the posters and place them throughout your facility or organization. 5.Use our flyers and email template to contact friends, co-workers, family and your distribution lists to recruit help in filling the boxes. 6.When your toy donation box is full, please contact Katrina Metoyer, kmetoyer@midnightmission.org or call 213-624-9258 ext. 1242 to schedule a pick-up. kmetoyer@midnightmission.org LA Inc.’s Jeff Leung and family volunteers every year to wrap barrels for their toy drive. (Donations are accepted at our facility until Christmas Eve.) Volunteers are needed for toy sorting starting in early December. Volunteers are needed all day Christmas Eve to set-up Santa’s Village.
