HIV*/AIDS Trends Between 2005-2006, statewide decrease (3%) in reported HIV and AIDS In the Hispanic population there was a 2% increase in reported cases of HIV and AIDS In 2006, 28% of reported cases of HIV and AIDS were white, 61% black, 10% Hispanic and 1% reported another race Majority of the reported cases of HIV and AIDS among Hispanics, in 2006, were male (73%) *Includes those that may have progressed to AIDS

HIV*/AIDS Trends In 2006, 62% of reported cases of HIV/AIDS in the Hispanic population were in the Northern Region, 42% of these cases are in Fairfax County *Includes those that may have progressed to AIDS
