1 Timothy 3:8-13 Positive Qualifications Deacons must be “reverent” Deacons must hold “the mystery of the faith with a pure conscience” Deacons must be “the husbands of one wife” Deacons must “rule their children and their houses well”

To Become A Christian: Believe in Jesus as God’s Son (John 8:24) Turn from your sins (Acts 17:30-31) Confess your faith in Christ (Matt.10:32-33) Be baptized for the remission of sins (Acts 2:38) Live a faithful Christian life (1 Cor.15:58) To Be Restored To Salvation: Turn from your sins (Acts 8:22) Confess your sins to God and pray for for- giveness (1 John 1:9; Acts 8:22)
