Produces reminders to students for outstanding fees or debts to the University. We also collate information regarding Scholarships and Studentships, in order to advise students effectively, and work in partnership with the Student Loan Company in administering the University Bursary Scheme. In partnership with other Professional Services and the Student Services Department, it deals with queries and payment of accommodation and tuition fees and provides general information and advice regarding graduation, student funds, and exams in particular. The Centre is staffed by trained advisers who aim to answer 80% of all queries at the front desk. Our advisers can be contacted by e-mail, telephone, voicemail, letter or fax. There is also a referral system for students requiring specialist advice from the services outlined below. You’ll find us by logging into the SUSSED portal and clicking on the ‘Resources’ tab. In addition we offer a free, confidential advisory service and a wide range of handbooks, leaflets and checklists covering the full range of housing topics. Exams Office Tel: 023 8059 2823(x22823internal) E-mail: exams@soton.ac.uk Helps students and staff with any administration relating to three main exam periods including arranging accommodation here and overseas, producing and publishing the exam timetable, making arrangements for students with additional exam requirements and arranging exam invigilation.

Careers Information Centre (Building 3, Highfield) Open throughout the year to both current students and graduates who have completed their studies within the last three years. Reference material includes books, journals, DVDs and CD- Roms. Take away information covering a wide range of graduate careers. Careers Guidance Individual help with career choice, job seeking, further study options, applications and interviews. Southampton Careers Network Comprehensive profiles of hundreds of Southampton graduates providing students with a unique database of contacts who can help them to explore a wide range of careers and organisations. Delivery of Talks and Workshops in Schools and Faculties Careers Advisers deliver appropriate tailored talks and workshops in schools and faculties to meet the needs of students.
