The School of Public Affairs and Administration (SPAA) at Rutgers University-Newark is highly recognized for its knowledge and competence in public service and administration, with particular attention to the fields of performance measurement, management, and improvement. 7 Curriculum The 42-credit curriculum consists of 11 courses (33 credits) of core and 3 electives (9 credits). 10 International Experience & Internships
Students have the opportunity to participate in an International Experience course and/or an Internship. Each course is 3 credits and it can be counted towards the concentration. International Experiences Seoul, South Korea (summer) London, England (spring) Dominican Republic (winter) Internships* Washington DC Summer Internships Internships at local government or nonprofit organizations *All internships must be approved by the Associate Dean, Peter Hoontis

11 Admission Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university Official undergraduate transcripts Personal statement Resume Three letters of recommendation Online program application Non-refundable $65 application fee GRE scores (for students with an undergraduate GPA below 3.0) TOEFL scores (for international applicants) 79 or higher

12 Tuition, Fees, and Financial Aid
Tuition and Fees Tuition cost is $919 per credit (each course is 3 credits) Student fees of $300 per course Total cost : $ 42,798 Financial Aid Graduate student loan options include: Federal Direct Loans, Federal Graduate PLUS Loans, and Private Loans.
